Configure Resolvers and Realms - The Details

Before you can roll out any Token, you have to connect LinOTP to at least one
of your userdirectories by creating a so called **User ID Resolver**. User ID
Resolvers are organized in **Realms**. You can setup both resources easily in
the LinOTP Web UI. In this section of the documentation you can read about the
ideas behind User ID Resolvers and realms as well as about the configuration
